Pre- conceptional care

Pre-conceptional care in Ayurveda, known as Garbhadhana Samskara, emphasizes preparing both partners physically, mentally, and spiritually before conception to ensure the birth of a healthy progeny. It focuses on achieving optimal dhatu nourishment and a healthy agni through proper diet (ahara), lifestyle (vihara), and Panchakarma (detoxification therapies). The use of rasayana therapy and seasonal regimens (ritucharya) supports reproductive health. Overall, Ayurvedic pre-conceptional care aims at producing healthy progeny (supraja) by promoting holistic well-being before pregnancy. Many couples have been utilising this facility to have healthy babies.

Antenatal & Post natal care

Antenatal care (Garbhini Paricharya) emphasizes month-wise dietary regimens, appropriate lifestyle, and mental well-being to support proper fetal growth and prevent pregnancy-related complications. Postnatal care (Sutika Paricharya) aims at restoring the mother’s strength, improving digestion, promoting uterine involution, and enhancing lactation through specific diets, herbal formulations, oil massage, and adequate rest. Aristhas, Asavas, tablets, medicated oils, decoctions and lehyas are provided through prasuti OPD and Supraja special OPD. This is benefiting many pregnant woman and lactating mothers. Together, Ayurvedic antenatal and postnatal care provide a holistic approach to maternal and neonatal health by supporting physical recovery, emotional stability, and long-term well-being. Infertility treatment

Infertility (vandhyatwa) is a growing concern in modern era.  Rapid rise in life style diseases like PCOS, endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids have contributed to this. These are managed with internal medication, inpatient panchakarma therapies and local treatment modalities (sthanika chiktsa) like Uttara vasthi etc. Many young couples are befitted utilising these treatment modalities

Treatment for gynaecological disorders

The streeroga – prasuti  department offers  effective management in common gynaecological ailments like menstrual disorders, excessive bleeding, leucorrhoea, PCOS, endometriosis,  adenomyosis etc for women in reproductive age group through internal medication. Treatment also includes therapies such as shodhana (detoxification through Panchakarma) and supportive measures like regulated diet (ahara), lifestyle (vihara), and stress management. Specialized procedures such as yoni pichu, yoni dhavana and vasti are used in conditions have proven beneficial. The department also offers treatment to menopause related ailment, prolapse and pre- malignant cervical lessions
