Pathology& Diagnostics

The department deals with the subject ‘Roganidhan Evam Vikrithi Vigyan’ in the second professional BAMS curriculum. The teaching methods include theory classes, laboratory practical and bed side clinical classes. Classes were delivered using different methods such as lectures, PowerPoint presentations, video demonstrations, and mobile learning. Practical training in haematolog, biochemistry, serology and clinical pathology was provided in the laboratory. Classes were conducted for first year UG students also as part of integrated teaching. Classes were conducted for first year PG students in the subject research methodology and biostatistics. Theory classes and practical training in Microbiology, and modern diagnostic methods were conducted for first year PG students. Lab and ECG training was conducted for house surgeons.
